To my super aunty

Though we are always making fun of each other, this is how I feel about you. This is my real message for you. Aunty, you are amazing.

You met me when I was a little baby, but my first memory of you is when I was in 3rd grade. To me, you were my mom’s friend who came from the United States and got me a yellow duck soft toy. I remember being very formal and sweet to you (I know that you badly miss that phase now 😛 We are never going back there 😛 Hard luck haha 😛 ). The journey from then to where we are now has been incredible. I don’t know when or how I became so close to you and you went from being “aunty” to “SUPER aunty”.

You are like a fairy godmother to me. My genie. The second I wish for something, there you are already trying to implement it and make it happen. Till date, I am still trying to figure out how you get things done haha. Starting with getting me Stalin movie tickets when there were none left in the theatres to picking Tulip (lil teddy bear) for me from the claw machine  to many many more things. All the trips that we have gone together and the wonderful birthday surprises that you and mamma & dada planned for me were wonderful.

I just realised that in all these years, you haven’t said a NO to anything that I asked. Ever. I love how caring and sweet you are and your ability to make anyone smile anytime, just amazes me. You are super smart and professional at your work and you are a big inspiration for me.

I don’t say this enough but I want you to know that I love you sooooooooooooooooooo much ❤ Though I keep fighting with you and teasing you all the time, I internally feel very lucky and blessed to have you in my life. You are not just mamma’s best friend anymore. You are my best friend too.

Until next time…

With Love
